I want to hear about creative ways you asked your bridesmaids (or bridesmen) to be in your wedding. I'd like to try to think of something very crafty that will make them feel special, but I'm stumped.

How did everyone ask their bridesmaids to be a bridesmaid at your wedding? I'm having an engagement party in a few weeks and plan on asking them there. Maybe with a card, a gift...I'm not sure. I'd love to hear how you all did it :)

Some background: We're counting our ketubah witnesses (aydim) as part of the wedding party for our early March Jewish wedding. They're going to wear red vests and ties to match our chuppah holders. I really really want to give my ladies an official card/gift to ask them to be part of the wedding party around Christmas BUT this is the busiest time of my life.
